Sparkles in the Milk is both the pseudonym of songwriter Jeff Sparks and the name of his gloriously lo-fi 1994 album, soon to be reissued by Beehouse Records. Combining a love of 70’s AM radio pop with the reckless spirit of 80’s underground bands like the Replacements, Sparkles is likely to appeal to fans of East River Pipe or Badly Drawn Boy.
